My dear Francis, it took me some time to write this message as I was completely shocked and devastated by your passing. I think that I am still in shock.

I was looking forward to reuniting with you in Bexley. You took an avid interest in my career as a recently qualified nurse in 2014. You offered your mentorship which has been a major factor in my practice thus far. You encouraged me to stretch myself and was equally motivating and suportive. You would enjoy the june plums I would bring you from the market. We would discuss the differences and similarities between our cultures. You are deeply missed.
