What is an Online Memorial ?

An Online Memorial is a web page on which textual biographies and obituaries can be published along with photos and videos as a long lasting tribute to a loved one. They may also be referred to as an Online Tribute, Virtual Memorial or Digital Memorial pages.

As for a traditional headstone they can include an inscription but unlike a headstone they may also be supplemented by photos, videos, a eulogy or biography. Also unlike a physical headstone the inscription can be changed at anytime. The inscription can also be set to change at a particular significant anniversary date. 

Once created the Online Memorial can optionally be linked to the physical memorial by the use of our iPLAQUE® memorial plaques.  

Creating an Online Memorial Page is easy. The first step requires the owner of the memorial to register and create an account with Remembrance Book  (this is free).

Once created an Online Memorial page can be edited and changed at any time but only by the registered owner. Editing of the Online Memorial page by anyone other than the registered owner is not allowed.
