Francis Adzinku
A letter to Francis
Dear Francis
As a child my parents often said when good people pass away another light is dimmed in the night sky. I am no longer sure if this is the case, but I do know that a bright light has dimmed across Oxleas and has gone out of my life. I will be eternally grateful to you for the support, mentoring and for your valuable time you have shared with me, always encouraging, always caring, always there. It was sometime into our friendship before I realised just how many others you were supporting, perhaps in the same way. I remember us laughing when I asked you about your brothers, you said ‘my brothers’, I said yes Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. We laughed so hard, I miss you. The world of Senior Management can sometimes be a lonely place, but I have always felt held and supported by you. So goodnight my dear friend until we meet again, sleep well and peace be thine.
Your friend always and forever
Lorna
