As my line manager since joining BBB in April-21 when we were all working from home, I spent a great deal of time speaking to John in the six months before his retirement and he really took the time to help and support me integrating into the organisation. I am thankful I got to meet him in person a couple of times and was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing so soon after his retirement knowing the future plans he had in place.
