Although based at another institution I feel privileged to have worked and collaborated with Kome on managing urine infections without antibiotics- a subject of mutual interest.

She was such a kind and thoughtful colleague and always a pleasure to work with and to share time with; she had such a lot to offer.  Although I have now retired from the University- remembering our shared interest- I had recently emailed Kome sharing some research which I thought she would be keen to see.

I was so sorry to hear the terrible news and my thoughts are with her family and colleagues.
