Jonathan Nichols

It’s hard to put into words what an amazing man Jonathan was. Very few people have the ability to not only light up a room but to change the energy in the room and have everyone instantly smiling. I remember meeting Jonathan for the first time at my interview for St Silas 10 years ago now. He instantly made me feel at ease. I remember the impact he would have as he walked around school, leaving a trail of smiling faces behind him. Something that will always stay with me is how he would always announce to anyone and everyone visiting school that I was a weight lifter and ate chicken and broccoli for breakfast. It still makes ne laugh when I think of it now. He was always so interested in the staff and genuinely cared about us and made us feel so valued, regardless of our role. I am so grateful for my time knowing Jonathan. What an incredible legacy he has left and so many lives will continue to be positively impacted by his vision for years to come. He really inspired me to know that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. Jonathan, I am so saddened by your loss but I am so glad that I had the opportunity of knowing such an amazing man.
