I wish to send my sincere condolences to Peter’s family and friends. I was incredibly lucky to have worked with Peter during my time at the School of Advanced Study. He was a constant source of wise counsel and calm, considered leadership. His passion for education was evident, and he was constantly building new opportunities for others to learn. He had a kind and gentle manner, and always had time to stop and talk, no matter how busy he must have been. It was an honour to work with him, and he will be very much missed.
