It is with great sadness that I write in this book, but my life would not have been the same without Joe in it. His quiet confidence and thoughtful conversations helped me to think differently and better understand the challenges I faced. The lessons I learned from him are ones I will carry with me always. He was a great mentor, an excellent line manager, and someone I will remember.
