I am so saddened to hear this news! Absolutely heartbreaking news. My sincere condolences to Kome’s family during this difficult time. I met Komi in 2017 at the university of Oxford (Radcliffe primary care building). I was so proud to meet such an intelligent, kind and very caring person. I was alone in Oxford with no family around and I remember Kome being so kind and caring when I joined the department. We used to take our lunch breaks the same time so we can chat to each other and talk. Kome had a great sense of humour and I thoroughly enjoyed every conversation she had with me. When I first read the news about her death, I immediately checked when was last time I messaged her and sadly the last message was in Christmas 2017. I felt terribly sad for not keeping in touch and not being able to get in touch again!.

I am sure, Kome, the most loving and caring person, is in a better place.
