For my dear sister Shade and for you boys , her beloved Sons . I so wanted to be there to pay my respects to you on the day of your funeral . Our sweet mummy. You turned our lives upside down, in the best way possible! You were everything to us and your untimely death has left such a void that only Jehovah can fill. What will we do without our Mama Sade? We’re so grateful to have had you in our lives and the way you took us under your wing as if we were your own flesh and blood. We only became family a little over 6 years ago when Tessa decided that she wanted to study with you. We were a little puzzled by her decision after all she was young so we assumed she’d prefer someone she could relate to but alas everyone who knows Tessa knows how stubborn she can be so we went along with it. Our heartfelt condolences 🙏, it is still a fresh hurt in our hearts losing Mummy Telewa at this time. “O death” We have the utmost faith and hope in the future resurrection where we will see her once again and live forever in a world free from pain and sickness. We will continue to cherish the wonderful love and time she spent with us and her fine encouragement and steadfastness throughout the trying times.  Mummy have laid a fine legacy as she had gained so many Children in the truth through her indefatigable love for the ministry.  We are looking forward to seeing her resurrected soon when we can all say “O death where is your sting” but till then may Jehovah keep us all in his love. My dear Aunty Shade, what can I say.. what a beautiful, strong and faithful woman you were.. you were always such an encouraging example for me. Having health problems of my own, you were always so empathetic and understanding with me. Even when I moved out of the area, you contacted me from time to time telling me you loved me and giving me words of encouragement that were like a beacon of light during trialsome times. You treated me the way a grandmother would. I miss you greatly. The way you conducted yourself throughout the time I had the pleasure of knowing you is what I want to keep on imitating.. yes, your faithful example lives on in my mind and will continue to until I see you again in the new world. You were selfless and so focused on other people, despite dealing with so many struggles of your own. And first and foremost, your main concern was always of our God, Jehovah. You would say “it won’t be long until our heavenly father Jehovah vindicates his sovereignty”. Your strong focus in life greatly impressed me. Aunty Shade…. What can I say? I was shocked when I heard the news. I’ve thought about you everyday. I thought you would never leave. Through all your pain, you smiled. You were adorned in beautiful Nigerian attire and had the looks that would kill. Who didn’t love you? Most importantly you had time for everyone, even for me. I could talk to you all day, your faith was unwavering and you made me feel like I was your son. You gave me a real sense of peace. You were so warm and genuine! I could see Jehovah was at the forefront of your life. Your cooking to this day is unmatched and I will never forget the day I came to eat at your house after ministry. My goodness I didn’t want to leave! Everything you did was with love. I wish I could have spent more time with you but I am also glad you are no longer in pain. She was more than just my mother, she was my best friend, always willing to listen and bring me comfort when down. Even when she was ill she would refuse to see me hungry and would cook one of her very delicious meals for me to eat and take home. I’m yet to find a better cook than mum and doubt I ever will. Her Love for God was inspiring and even at her illest stage she still found a way to bear witness to his glorious name. I remember the last few days she spent, she was in constant meditation to God, I’m in no doubt she would be remembered by him. I’ll gravely miss mum and her warmth and forever remember the knowing smile she gave me on her last Monday when I said see you later mum. She knew it was the last time we would meet. So sad to hear about your mom’s passing. I know that she and my mom kept in touch and encouraged each other from time to time.  She has gone to rest from the pains and tribulations that are the norms in this system. Loyal, Henry and Femi – You had the best mum in the world! Work hard to see her again in the new world.   Why should I fear the lion? Why should I fear any foe? Mum sent me that song when it was first released and we sang it together. You never feared any lion. You never feared any foe. You fought on courageously until you finally succumbed to death. You were my Aunt, but i recognised you as mother. My Egbon, Funmi drew us closer, but I found a mother in you. For over 35 years, you stood by each one of us. You were a shoulder to cry on, and you have those soothing words to calm troubled hearts. Always eager to.lead us in the right way by means of God’s word.
