Loyal, Henry and Femi – You had the best mum in the world! Work hard to see her again in the new world.

Why should I fear the lion? Why should I fear any foe? Mum sent me that song when it was first released and we sang it together. You never feared any lion. You never feared any foe. You fought on courageously until you finally succumbed to death. You were my Aunt, but i recognised you as mother. My Egbon, Funmi drew us closer, but I found a mother in you. For over 35 years, you stood by each one of us. You were a shoulder to cry on, and you have those soothing words to calm troubled hearts. Always eager to.lead us in the right way by means of God’s word. The large edition of the Bible that you gave me when I complained of not being able to read at night, is a testimony.

With heart filled with pain I write these words, but I take solace in the resurrection which Jehovah has promised. I will work hard and endure to the end so that I can be among those that will welcome you back when Jehovah calls out to you, and you do indeed answer.
