Brad joined the Moody’s team a year ago as a Leverage Finance Analyst. During his tenure at Moody’s, Brad made a strong contribution to the team and brought a fresh view on credit issues. He was liked and respected by all. Brad will be missed by the members of his team and those who had the good fortune to work with him.

In this book we gather the condolences and thoughts from Brad’s colleagues at Moody’s as well as from other professionals he met over the past year.

It’s with sadness that I heard Brad passing away. Due to Covid, we haven’t been able to meet in person, however throughout a few email exchanges, I remember someone very kind and respectful. My thoughts are with his family…

Although I had only recently joined Brad’s team, I had the opportunity to talk and work with Brad a few times and very much appreciated his great kindness and care about others. My deepest condolences and most comforting thoughts go to his family and friends….

I did not have the chance to meet Brad in preson. But from the few exchanges we had on the phone, he seemed to be a very smart and nice person. I am deeply saddened by the news of your loss. I express my sincere sympathy to you, to Brad’s family and close friends. …

I was very sad to hear of Brad’s passing. The first time I met Brad was when he interviewed for a position in the leveraged finance team in London years ago. However, at that time, Brad decided he would like to move to Paris and so he did not join the team back then. He reached out again a number of years later and said he would still love to work for Moody’s and as we had a position to fill in Paris, he applied and finally joined. Brad brought a lot of experience and his personality fitted right in with the Moody’s culture. I did not work very closely with him, but was always impressed by his knowledge and enjoyed his kind and pleasant manner. I would like to express my condolences to his family and loved ones. Brad will be missed….

My sincere condolences to Brad’s family and friends on the tragic news. Like many here at Moody’s, I only knew Brad for a year or so. Despite only meeting him virtually in a business environment, I immediately found him to be extremely likeable and good company. He will be much missed….

Very shocked about this sad news. Brad and I shared an office for a while, and he showed extraordinary kindness to me in times that were particularly difficult. Such a good person, I will not forget. My thoughts are with his wife and loved ones. So long Brad. xxx…

It is always moving to lose a colleague even more so when someone leaves before their time. I did not have a chance to work with Brad, nevertheless I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends in these difficult times. …

Brad was very much liked and appreciated at his prior workplace. He not only impressed his French colleagues, with whom he generously and thoughtfully shared his expertise, but I’d often hear warm words for him across Europe and the US with whomever he worked. He will be remembered by many of us for his intellect, curiosity, and the strength of his convictions. Work aside, he was also a just pleasure to be around, and I fondly recall his good humored updates on the challenges of trying to buy an apartment in Paris….

As a manager and as a person, we are never ready for when a colleague leaves before time. Brad has left a vacuum behind him that will be hard to fill. Everyone who met Brad in the virtual office benefitted from his kindness, experience, inquisitive spirit and willingness to do well. Testimony of his generous knowledge-sharing are the couple of editions of the internal leverage finance newsletter he wrote, and the interview he gave for our French office gazette transpired a subtitle sense of humour. Personally, I never had the opportunity to meet face to face with Brad but had a handful of chats with him via Zoom. Behind the professional I could perceive a sensitive person, which only added to his charm. My heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends in these difficult times. I wish them strength and peace on my behalf and on behalf of the entire Moody’s team….

Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. My deepest sympathies….

Although Brad joined our team fairly recently and during unprecedented circumstances, it feels like he had been with us more longer than that. He had always struck me as a very nice and smart person, two qualities which do not co-exist often enough. He was always willing to share the knowledge he had accumulated during all these years in the financial industry. His sudden departure was a shock to me but I can’t imagine how hard it must be for his family and friends. I therefore wish to express them my since condolences during this challenging moment….

Eugenio Manzoli

It is with a heavy heart that I learnt about the Brad’s passing, and my thoughts are with Brad’s wife, friends and family during these difficult times. I did not have a chance to meet with Brad face to face given the sanitary situation, but in my few chats with him he struck me as a very nice person whom I wanted to get to know more when back at the office.  …
