I am very sorry to hear about Manfredi’s passing and would like to offer my deepest condolences to his family, co-workers, and anyone who worked with him. I can’t imagine the methane-climate community without him. Manfredi created or helped create so many intiatives that are innovative in trying to address the methane emissions. He knew how to look the issues straight in the face and come up with solutions without bogging down in obstacles. My colleagues and I appreciated him attending and presenting at many Global Methane Initiative events. Manfredi was a friend of GMI, offering advise, perspective, and ideas on how to move forward. He is gone too soon and will be missed. I feel fortunate to have met him.
