MCD was an all-or-nothing type of chap.  From taking on the Artic Trek to hosting a virtual gin tasting to more recently as he underwent treatment ensuring he mentioned the importance of my partner checking his bits! He said it like it is, a spade was a spade and we often ‘ shoveled’ together to either dig holes or fill them in.  Mark had so many loves and we also had a personal chat covering a variety of topics from rugby, cricket, Land Rovers, gin, craft beer and not forgetting his family which were always foremost in our chats.   MCD will be missed in life but he certainly packed a lot into his decades and his memory will certainly live on.
