I still cannot believe that I am writing this message……. Mark was a wonderful person, colleague and friend who will be missed.  Mark made such an impact in this time with the MS Society and all the other charities who have benefitted from his expertise.

Mark was one of the first people I met when I joined the organisation nearly 9 years ago.  He called a spade a spade but there was always humour added into the mix!   I will miss the chats, the updates on his cars, the cricket, food and many more.  I learned quickly that a half hour chat was never long enough!

There are many memories I could recall but the one which comes straight to mind was when I decided to do a Zipslide for the MS Society for my 50th Birthday!  In my own mind I (thought) knew the location, set-up etc and told myself I would be okay.  Mark and colleagues were however being vague on the details following a “site visit”…….. my instinct was correct it wasn’t the same location.  It was further into the woods at Crieff and the platform was up a huge tree!!!  Mark could see the dread on my face but shouted up “boss get on with it your colleagues and family are waiting at the other end!”  I dont know that I could have done it if it wasnt for Mark. 

Heather, Lucy, Amy and family, Mark was a true diamond, I and everyone at the MS Society will miss him very much.
