My darling Uncle Dee,

This hurts, this really hurts. These past few days, I’ve found myself reliving the way you would delightfully cheer me on and call me “A-Tolu-bay-bay-bay.” Looking back, the most beautiful and tiniest moments have now become the biggest memories.

You were so selfless and kind, and you shared your life with us wholeheartedly. Thank you for always looking out for me, for being a dependable guide, and for being  a dear big brother.

This loss truly hurts, but we remain consoled by the knowledge that you are resting at the feet of your Maker. I love you so much, and I pray that your soul rests peacefully.

Good night, Uncle Dee. Sleep well. Until we meet again, to part no more.
