I miss Vanessa greatly, we shared a wicked sense of humour and often got a fit of the giggles, we had silly nick names for each other and shared in jokes which I shall always remember fondly.
Vanessa often bought in cakes she had made at home and on more than one occasion I’d get home to find V had popped a food offering into my bag, or she would take cuttings of plants/flowers growing in her garden and bring them into work, I think most of us have flowers growing in our gardens that V has given us. Venessa really is a lovely lady with a big heart, she was always ready with a listening ear and always gave sound advice, she was always very supportive.
I feel priviledged to have known Vanessa and I know she will be sadly missed by all who knew her at Horder.
