I was very saddened by the loss of Stuart, whom I got to know through Alzheimer’s Research UK: a highly respected scientist, a conscientious and dedicated volunteer advisor to the charity and advocate for the cause of dementia research – but above all, I’ll remember a warm, friendly and kind person who left us far too soon, and will be sadly missed.
