Joe Interviewed me over 20 years ago for a job at Arup.  Fortunately for me, he saw something useful.  From day one Joe was an amazing engineer to work alongside, always supportive and available to give guidance and advice.  If i ever had a problem, he would be one of the first people i would reach out to and always had time to help.  His technical skills and knowwledge in Civil Engineering are second to none.  He was a great engineer and leader in the London Civil Engineering team.

We worked very closely together on a range of Canary Wharf projects where he has left a significant legacy.  The photo always reminds me of Joe, because he designed and delivered the infrastructure that supports so much of the Canary Wharf we see today.  

We will miss him hugely, but he will always be remembered fondly.  My condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
