Rob was my line manager at Vattenfall for around a year, at a time we were professionalising and growing the Engineering teams. He was always a strong figure, who could be trusted to give calm and steady advice, both in technical and leadership terms. But I know Rob since his time at L&Q, when I was at SSE and we worked together on the Barking Riverside project. He was a respected and loved character in our industry that will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with his family and close friends.
