Dear Kome. What a loss to the world this is  

I had the pleasure of working with her on one of her research trials. Kome was always so enthusiastic, gentle, funny, passionate about her work, and just a delight to be with. I believe that I recruited more patients to this particular trial than anyone else. There was only one reason for this – simply that she was so inspirational that it made me want to do my very best for her. Despite being so clever and such a bright star, Kome was also very humble. I had such respect for her. I am so very sad for her family and friends. Kome, may you rest in peace and rise in glory.
