Michael’s passing touched me deeply. I only worked with Micheal briefly, but I could tell from the first few moments that he was a man of utmost kindness, honesty and heart. A person with integrity, who stood by his team and principles no matter what. He taught me early on that I could be myself, despite the corporate world we live in, and to approach our work with passion and our interactions with colleagues with warmth and friendship. Michael’s vibrant outbursts (often against IT) were the highlight of my day, and he brought joy to everyone around him just by being unapologetically himself. I know he loved his team fiercely, and set the example for how to lead with heart. I will forever miss Michael, the colour and laughter he brought to the 5th floor. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends – we will never forget him.
