Na Kung, I smile writing this knowing you are watching us from above. You were always the sweetest grandfather to me and the memories I keep with you I will cherish for a lifetime. I’ll always remember the unique smell of your clothes, your endless love for eating crab, the softness of your skin and being fascinated by the stories of your youth. I wish we had spent more time together so I would’ve gotten to know you better as a man, not only my grandfather. Still, I remain content knowing I’ll get the chance to in the future. I’m so deeply sorry you are no longer with us Na Kung and that we weren’t all able to join you in your final days. 

It’s funny how your decisions to have a home in Sausalito set the foundations of my life. For this, you’ll always be with me which makes me quite happy.
