I’m so sad about this news. My thoughts are with Stuart’s family and friends at such a difficult time.

I worked closely with Stuart as part of the Alzheimer’s Research UK team. Stuart advised us on many of our research initiatives, more significantly as Chair of our Grant Review Board and our Clinical Trials Panel. He had a real passion for his work, for advancing research to help people with dementia, and dedicated so much of his time to our charity. In between conversations about science, Stuart loved telling us all about the beautiful place where he lived and his pigs! I’m thankful to have worked with him and I will miss him.
