I had the chance to work with Manfredi only briefly and mainly remotely–but I recognized from our first conversations his passion and integrity.  Manfredi knew the stakes and felt deeply the obligation and privilege to work with the global climate community to mitigate the damage and the risk. When my US government colleagues learned the news the grief was immediate and universal on our text chain.  We will miss him as a fellow fighter for a safer planet and do our collective best to complete his methane mission.  Deepest condolences to his children and partner and know that he made an enduring difference for the planet we share.
