Liam Oliver

We were incredibly sad to hear about Liam’s death.  Since he took over his role, he had been unfailingly helpful and approachable – not to mention fun.

I, and all of my team, will miss him.  One might have imagined that someone working in such a commissioning role would be unlikely to have much interaction with junior members of staff in a single provider organisation, so I think that it’s testament to his incredibly open and friendly nature that he had an impact on everyone here.

We loved his sense of humour, and we keep his memory alive by adopting some of his best phrases – “Use your words, Liam” is a particular favourite.

Our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues…and with Liam, you felt that there was barely any dividing line between those last two.
