I have met Jon personally in my third week working at Ecolab. It was one of the evening events at the global Sales Meeting with good food and some beers. Michael as my predecessor pulled me over and said “you need to talk to this guy here – he’s incredible helpful and knows his stuff. Ask him whenever you have an issue”. There is absolutely nothing I could add here. I feel priviledged that I was able to meet Jon and to work with him at least a couple of months. Jon was such a great support to me. Not only that he new his stuff and always found every document or supporting information for any client request in no time, he was also simply a nice man and a a pleasure to work with – no I should say to communicate with. Professionally as well as privately. And thankfully I was able to tell him personally how much I valued him.

To phrase it in someone else’s words who also passed away recently: Jon, you didn’t die an ordinary man. Thank you for having been there. There are a lot of people missing you. Including me.
