Wayne, you were a truly remarkable individual and one who’s legacy will continue.

My thoughts are with your family, friends and colleagues both past and present.

I can’t put into words how deeply sad I am that someone so inspiring has left this life too early; but the life you led and the people you inspired is a life that was well-lived and honourable.

I know that many scaffolders and scaffolding company owners looked up to you as a role model, your tales of humble beginnings and your Irish heritage made you even more relatable to your work family here in NI.
