Gregory De La Peña-Hall

I first met Gregory back when we both worked at Elior. I was immediately struck by his brilliant sense of humour and powers of observation. Although we didn’t work closely he was a gracious supporter of what I did and was really sorry when he left the company. But the power of social media meant that in fact I then got to see more of Gregory and how his Professional and personal life continued from strength to strength.

Remaining in contact via Instagram in recent years post diagnosis and his selfless and open journey with that bloody big C (with Covid mixed in) was amazing and hard but also lovely to see him find such genuine happiness. Gregory’s generosity sharing this, meant we were all allowed to play some small part of his story

Joey, I have never met you but my god it was so evident of the love that you two had and again magical to watch albeit virtually. It feels wrong and cruel to have Gregory taken away from someone and somewhere he was so loved. I hope that you can take some comfort from this book and the many messages I have seen regarding your very lovely husband. All my love and thoughts are with you and your families
