I first met Paul in person at his beloved “RAG” club in 2022 to discuss the Achilles role. From outside in, it appeared to be a challenging turnaround he was attempting so I looked him in the eye and asked him if he knew what he was doing. Turns out, he very much did. I will miss his unflappable demeanour, his candour and honesty, his sense of fun and of course his many anecdotes from what seems to have been a life very well lived. The response to this tragedy from those who knew him even briefly speaks volumes about the type of man he was and how he touched so many of us. My sincerest condolences to Susie, his sons and the rest of his family of which he spoke so fondly. Phil
