Phil Nash (Nashy)

Dear Phil,

I’m so very sorry to hear of your passing. To your family and especially your wife and daughter I offer my deepest sympathy. You both continue to be in my daily thoughts.

Phil you are a true gentleman who will be dearly missed by me and all your friends at Stanley Black and Decker.

You made time to speak to everyone in the company and always spoke with great charm and humour. It was a pleasure to work with you, as you always acted with professionalism and dedication whilst ‘always adding value’! ‘AAV Nashy’ was our inside joke sign off for meetings and mails, our bit of shared fun but it was true. You did. You worked in this way whilst also remembering how we all interact with our colleagues in work is so meaningful. A kind word, a laugh or a moment to pause with you and your gentle humour was so important.

This support and your friendship over our many years working together meant a lot. You always asked about my family and took genuine interest in others. We would discuss many things together like our families, how our children were doing, your tennis club latest form and you would always marvel me with your quiz trivia knowledge.

I will miss these moments my friend and I want you to know it meant a great deal to me.

Rest in peace Phil.

Love from Ev,vo! x

Paul Evans
