It was a pleasure to work alongside Joe. Whatever gripe or issue one had, Joe was always there to listen, discuss, and solve the issue in a calm and kind manner. His support and guidance with the ICE was invaluable. His encouragement and desire to see colleagues progress as engineers was something I truly appreciated. I’m truly grateful for the time, patience, and encouragement he gave me.

​Joe was always available for coffee and a chat. His passion for sport and exercise was evident every day, whether that was a moan at the football results or discussing his commute on the bike. My condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time. Joe will be missed but will forever live in our memories.
