Mr Fell was a unique individual, whom I had the privilege of getting to know during my time working at Kent College where I assisted in hosting our wonderful Experience Days.  The vast majority of the children would tell me their favourite part of the day was Mr Fell’s fun pyrotechnic demonstrations assisted by David Brito.  I was always late for the following activity because Mr Fell’s enthusiasm for showing the children how exciting chemistry is, would have him say to me “Do we have time for one more?” with the children pleading to stay on.  I have wonderful memories of those times and I always felt uplifted after his demonstration.  Stephen was a wonderful, funny and genuinely kind hearted person who will be missed by everyone.  My heart goes out to his family.  I hope you get some comfort from knowing what an incredible impact he had on students and colleagues alike.
