To Nick’s beloved family, words won’t be able to describe the loss you are feeling at this present time. Here at the BBB, we were fortunate enough to get to experience Nick for a short period of time, but as you will see from the messages in this book, it didn’t take long for him to make a big impact. He was the big friendly giant, with one of the largest hearts I have ever known. Passionate, warm, kind, genuine, putting others first always, loving, caring, funny, witty…I could go on but all that was just Nick, and using just is a true understatement.

I hope overtime you can take comfort in knowing just was an impact he made on others around him and how much he loved you all, as it was clear from any brief encounter that he was a family man and will leave a big hole.

To Nick, thank you for being more than a colleague, thank you for being a friend. Even with a significant age difference and being at different places in life, it didn’t matter. You still connected, listened, supported and provided a bright spark on some gloomy days. As with most people who got the pleasure of meeting you, I will miss the opportunity to speak to you again and share life stories and experiences. Rest in Peace fella.
