Such a positive voice who embraced the mantra ‘deeds not words’. Maxine just got stuck in trying to help change along. It was an honour and a privilege to know her. I learnt what a ‘can do’ attitude can achieve and she helped me on my political journey. I can’t imagine the hole she will leave behind with her dear daughter and husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God give you strength to endure the pain and to eventually smile when you think of Maxine. A brilliant positive star shining still. Rest in peace!
