I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing.

Joe took me under his wing as my Supervising Civil Engineer when I joined Arup as a graduate in 2016. He was not only a manager, but also a friend, mentor, and leading example. He played a huge part in shaping both the engineer and the person I am today.

I will always be grateful for the support, guidance, and belief Joe showed in me throughout my early career, especially during the tougher times. His calm, steady approach and his “keep calm and carry on” attitude were qualities I greatly admired and will always remember going forward.

Joe will be hugely missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences are with Joe’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
