Alan Feakes
I have many memories of our 62 years of marriage and these are for me to keep and some of which I have shared with friends and family. So thinking very hard on what I was going to write I decided to copy this special poem for all of us who have lost loved ones just recently or just a few yeara go. For me personally I feel that a beauty of a memory is that it is always there like a penny in your pocket you can take it anyway.
When tomorrow starts without me and I am not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes are filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry, the way you did today,
While thinking of the many things we didn’t get to say.
I know how much loved me as I loved you too, and each time you think of I know you will miss me too,
But, when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand,
That someone came and called my name and took me by the hand.
When tomorrow starts without me, don’t think we’re far apart,
For everytime someone thinks of me I’m right there in their heart.
