It is with a heavy heart that I read this. When I started as a coordinator many years ago Malcolm was the friendly reassuring voice on the phone who I could almost hear smiling when I was speaking to him. I remember on one occasion thinking that a Harefield offer had gone to another centre. I called to ask what was happening and I will never forget him saying “I applaud your enthusiasm but its not your zone Lynda!”. I could hear him laughing but not at me with me as I sat at the desk realising my error. He was such a gentleman in the true sense of the word and will be a great loss to everyone. My sincerest condolences to all his family, friends and colleagues. The world will be lessened by his loss.
