David was one of my favourite people to have a chat with at the Solent Hotel. We both had our favourite seats in the sauna and would spend our time chatting about football, travel and family.

He was such an engaging person with some great stories about his away days watching Scotland. But most of all he loved to talk about Sue and his boys. His eyes would light up and he beamed with pride.

My sincerest condolences to Sue and his family.
