Brandusa Tataru-Marinescu

Dear Horia, Kara, Luca and family,

We are so sorry for your loss of our beautiful friend Brandusa. What a wonderful person she was, brave, funny, smart, direct, fearless and always wanting to leave the world a better place. Max and I will always remember our chats with her in our respective massage sessions in KQ basement, where we would have a good old natter and set the world to rights. And Max says sorry for all those intense foot massages! She made my job as Responsible Business Manager easier and more enjoyable with her passion, knowledge and determination about all things D&I. People like Brandusa are true role models who walk the walk every day and call out injustice when they see it. Her passion and contribution to D&I will live on in the KN/Brandusa Tataru-Marinescu Award for Diversity & Inclusion. We’re excited to see where this will lead.

She had so much energy for that and all the other things she held dear to her, especially her family. She loved talking about you all and her hopes and dreams for Kara and Luca. We hope that you will keep all those memories of the adventures you had as a family close to your hearts, as we at KN keep our memories of her close to ours.

Raymond Carver the poet said it best when he asked –

“And did you get whatyou wanted from this life, even so?I did.And what did you want?To call myself beloved, to feel myselfbeloved on the earth.”

We love and miss you B.
