Many of the transplant team have had the pleasure of working with Malcolm for several years.

We will remember him for his cheery disposition and ‘Hello, it’s Malcom’, he was always a very welcome voice to hear during a busy, and often late, night. It was always a joy to speak to Malcolm and his calming and seemingly unflappable manner could often make a stressful situation seem better.

The Leeds Liver and Kidney transplant teams would like to express their sincere condolences to his family and share our thanks for his contributions to our transplant activity over many years. He was a true gentleman although our conversations were only ever over the telephone his kindness, support and understanding shone through.

To his ODT family, the loss of a beloved colleague and friend undoubtedly affects the whole team and from one team to another we send our very best wishes and deepest sympathy.
