Kind, caring and forever smiling – Mrs Whiteman truly was one of a kind. It’s been almost a decade since I had a biology lesson with her, and my parents must have only met Mrs Whiteman a couple of times – but all our hearts sunk when we heard of her passing; such was her impact.

I miss the laughs in her lessons, and her immensely generous nature – she was never too busy to help, and her genuine care and concern for students was palpable.

Thank you for everything Mrs Whiteman, and my sincerest condolences to all of her loved ones. Rest in peace.
