There are not enough words to describe Derek. He was kind, caring and thoughtful and had an amazing sense of humour.He always had time for a chat, a cup of tea (and a few Haribo’s), and was always on hand to offer some great words of wisdom that never fell on deaf ears.He was a man of faith and a proper Christian, Derek made the world a better place by just being himself.

He was genuinely a lovely man who was well thought of by all of his colleagues and will be sadly missed by so many.

To Esther, Fraser and Beth may you find comfort in all of your memories knowing that you were the most important people in his life.
