Richard, a pillar of Waltham. I had the great pleasure of working with Richard on many a Nutrition-topic, including when I was a student at Waltham. He had the perfect mix of being ingredibly knowledgeable and insightful, but in an incredibly friendly and helpful way. No question was a stupid question to Richard. Hierarchy and position wasn’t an issue – Richard had time for everyone, which was such a special quality. All the perspective he brought to the nutrition trials we ran was unrivaled. I swear he knew that MPENS handbook off by heart! Richard always spoke about his family which such warmth and pride. He will be very sorely missed at Waltham.
