I worked with Kevin not only when we were both in the Fire Safety department, but also in his other roles throughout the years.  He was one of those people I turned to when I needed a knowledgeable, experienced and trustworthy officer to provide the operational perspective.  I had enormous respect for him, for his deep knowledge of operations and fire safety, which he coupled with a genuine passion for the Brigade’s work.  He was always supportive, fair and sometimes challenging (in a good way).  I send my sincere condolences and best wishes to his family, I can’t believe he’s been taken so soon.
