Piyush was a true leader, above the traditional manager, someone who was respected and looked up to. Because he was always calm, level-headed and while often firm, he took time to hear opinions, to consider all choices and worked a negotiation and conclusion in every meeting. He always said hello you while passing by in the corridor or lift. In this way he inspired a quiet and enduring loyalty with all of us. I will miss him for these qualities and the example of leadership that he brought. I expect that these strengths of character, were mirrored in him being an excellent family man. I offer my condolences to those he leaves behind.
