Ahmed will always be remembered as the great character he was. He was not only a work colleague but a friend that I respected and really warmed too.

He would do anything to help and sure it wasn’t always a smooth conversation and sometimes you would feel the wrath of his tongue if you had requested something he didn’t feel was his task (even though he could do it) though if you had treats then you were sure to get your task done and even completed quicker.

His lunch time naps, his always smart appearance with and without beard looks, fish and chip Friday discussions and his sometimes in office outbursts were all part of the Ahmed experience.

I will remember him with great fondness and am truely thankful I got to know him as I did.

My thoughts are with his family during this sad time.
