In Memory of

Ahmed Mahomed

Ahmed joined the Hafele family in 2011 as an Inventory Coordinator in the Purchasing Department.

Over the years his responsibilities grew as a result of his diligence, commitment, trustworthiness and integrity.  It also helped that he was loved and respected by all.

Ahmed was fondly known as ‘Pops’ by his close colleagues, a name he earned as a result of his kindness and caring nature as well as how he tried to encourage, develop and look after the people around him. He was also quick to pick up on poor standards and make his feelings known, but for the right reasons (as any ‘good Pops’ would).

By the time Ahmed had made what was a difficult decision for him, to take the opportunity to retire, he had dedicated nine years’ service to the company, had received many recognition awards and achieved so much he strived for, as well as positively influencing many colleagues along the way.

Ahmed enjoyed working at Hafele amongst the people he loved and we all loved him.

Heavens gates have opened for Ahmed and I’m sure that they will be hanging on Hafele hinges!

Rest in peace good friend.
