I feel honoured to have worked so closely with Francis.  He was a mentor, an inspriation and his compassion for our patients, their families and teams was like nothing I have experienced.  A true model of exemplary leadership and patient centred nursing.  Society has lost a truly brilliant person who without even  a second thought supported, mentored, provided opportunities and encouraged those around him.  I hope this message gives some support to his family at this difficult time, knowing how much he was valued and respected by many.  Rest in Peace Dear Francis.
