Lee was a great guy and a great mentor, and I’m grateful he gave me the chance to work alongside him.
Whenever I think of the good times at Barclays, Lee is always in those memories. I can’t say that about everyone I’ve worked for or with, but the kind of person Lee was left a real impact.
He was always approachable and had great advice or guidance. He shared his wisdom and knowledge freely, then added some banter, usually football related.
The only thing more important to Lee was his family. He always spoke about Jo, Jake and Lucy. I don’t know the names of most of my colleagues’ families, but those three were easy to remember because they came up every week.
Losing such a great man is a great loss, but he’ll always be in our hearts!
